On Writing
Some of you find it hard to follow my posts. None of them have polished sentences and suffer from poor readability. My apologies. I seldom try to structure my writing for easy reading. Each post is an early draft figuring out what I want to write. When stuck, I seek new ways to structure my ideas by sprinkling short sentences. My ideal of writing as modeling algorithmic thought goes opposite to the traditional approach of planning your thoughts before putting them on paper.
I don't see these posts as a medium to communicate perfectly formed thoughts. Instead, I view this exercise as an iterative approach to generate new ones for myself. This helps me see deeper coding structures. Conveying my ideas effectively and eloquently has never been my priority. Algorithmic design is problem solving by writing, and a blog post or an aside can present a powerful image of pure thought.
